My name is Alex Birtwell and I’m a wedding entertainer based in the North West of England with over 100 great independant reviews. I provide live musical entertainment for all parts of your special wedding day from the ceremony, afternoon reception, wedding breakfast and evening party including your first dance.

I am a singer and guitarist and my live act is based around a loop pedal which allows me to build up full sounding musical arrangements of your favourite songs whilst maintaining a live feel. Because of this side of my act I often get compared to the very popular performer Ed Sheeran which is something I love because I’m a big fan of Ed’s and have been since his earlier unsigned days and still listen to a lot of these early EPs. To date I’ve performed songs such as ‘Thinking Out Loud’,  ‘Tenerife Sea’ and ‘Lego House’ for bridal entrances and first dances as well as other Ed favourites such as “Don’t”, ‘A Team’, ‘Photograph’, ‘Bloodstream’, ‘You need me’ and ‘Sing’.

Given his popularity this has been brilliant for my entertainment business as more and more people are shying away form the more usual swing and Michael Buble approach and looking for a more authentic live performer.
